Happy

My wifey is back. YAY.
She is getting over a nice bit of jet lag, but hopefully that will be gone soon.
I can't wait to get home from work, the day has been dragging.

Street Pizza

Well, this past week hasn't been good for animals and my driving. Hit a small snake last week, at least I think it was a snake.
On my way home tonight I hit a raccoon, poor guy, and he was a big one too, big enough that I'm a little surprised that my car took no damage. I'm glad I wasn't on my bike when I hit him, but then again in all likelihood I wouldn't have hit him on my bike.
He was virtually across the road, saw my car then for some reason doubled back into me, there was no oncoming traffic, so I swerved to avoid, but he kept coming and got hit by both tires. I hope for his sake that he died on impact, which is highly likely, it was an open road with a 45 mph speed limit, so I was going flat out like a lizard drinking when I hit him.

It's been a bit of a crazy day at the library. I was kicking ppl off computers almost constantly from 3-5ish then it got a little less, so i could sit for 5 minutes or so. Crazy busy, why do people always flock in after a holiday. Ohh nooo not a day without the computer at the library.
